Endgame – New Systems and Path of Exile 2 Currency Features
POE 1:
Endgame Maps: POE 1’s endgame consisted primarily of the map system, where players would explore randomly generated areas in search of increasingly difficult bosses and loot. The maps were fun but could feel repetitive and lacked the narrative context found in the main campaign.

Shaper and Elder: The Shaper and Elder were two major endgame bosses, but after their defeat, players found themselves lacking a long-term goal.

POE 2:
New Endgame Systems: POE 2 significantly expands the endgame systems with new mechanics that introduce greater depth. The map system has been refined, and new bosses and dungeons have been added, featuring more varied and dynamic content.

Multi-Layered Endgame: POE 2 introduces endgame dungeons, elite bosses, and specialized loot systems, giving players more to explore after they complete the main storyline. These systems also tie into the game’s ongoing narrative, making the endgame feel more connected to the world.

Reworked Atlas: The Atlas system is getting a major overhaul, with additional content and rewards for high-level players. Expect more variety in the types of content available in path of exile 2 trade the endgame, as well as enhanced progression mechanics.
